Notes: Written for donchuwanna's prompt 'Nothing had ever felt more like an act of benediction, but here, at the feet of an angel, it was redemption.'
Warnings: Angst, mentions of violence, very mild non-graphic slash, the odd swear word. British English.
Disclaimer: I don’t own Twilight. I don't think I even actually own a copy of the first book. Huh. All for fun, no profit, &c. &c..
AN: I don't exactly know where this came from. I always figured that if I had the empathetic powers that Jasper has, at moments of personal emotional weakness it would be pretty easy to get flooded and disoriented by the emotions of others, particularly if they were strong, violent or close ones. So here we have Jasper pretty much crazy from the loud, immersive feelings of another person, like having them yelling incessantly in your ear. Hence the fragmented style and yes, I do quite like run-on sentences. Oops.
Also, it has taken me a shameful amount of time to get something written for a prompt after submitting one of my own. Sorry about that, and I hope this makes up for it.
